Jump aboard the new Eurostar Snow
Dreaming of a white Christmas? From December this year, Eurostar is giving you the chance to ride all the way from London to the Alps in just 8 hours. Just hop on at London and before you know it, you’ll be whizzing down the slopes that same day!
So, if you’re all about sustainable travel, ticket prices start from £99 each way for off-peak dates, and £149 during peak December times. Plus, you can take as many toiletries as you like, and there’s even an allowance for a pair of skis or snowboard!
The return of Walk The Rock
If you’re up for being active while soaking up some winter sun, there’s an amazing new hike in Lanzarote that might be just up your street. Sustainable travel specialists, Lanzarote Retreats, have brought back ‘Walk the Rock’ after a three year break.
The 7-night trip gives you the chance to take in some of the most beautiful paths inLanzarote, winding through pretty white-washed villages, vineyards, and the coast. You’ll even come across volcanoes and some pretty impressive jagged cliffs.
Taking place from 30 November to 8 December, the walks will range from 6km to a slightly more challenging 14km. Not only will you enjoy the breathtaking scenery, but you’ll also get to learn a whole lot about the vibrant culture and fascinating history along the way!
