Ever sat through a flight next to an unhappy toddler or a crying baby? After a hectic airport experience, sometimes dreams of a relaxing journey can be shattered by rowdy kids and exasperated parents.
This is where Turkish-owned Corendon Airlines have stepped in and introduced “Only Adult” zones on one of its routes. For €45, you can buy one of 93 seats reserved for passengers over 16.
You’ll be shielded from noise by walls and curtains, giving you the choice to fly through the clouds in peace.
It’s currently only available on flights between Amsterdam and Curaçao, but with travellers keen on the idea you could soon be ditching those earplugs!
Italy’s path of love to re-open after 12 years
The stunning walking route that winds through the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Cinque Terre, is set to reopen next July after more than a decade.
Built at the beginning of the 20th century for railroad workers to hop between Riomaggiore and Manarola, legend has it that it soon became a secret meeting place for lovers. It was then aptly named Via dell’Amore (Pathway of Love).
Known today as the most romantic walk in the world, it’s easy to see why. The 1km route follows a pathway carved out of rock and meanders around five colourful villages perched above the sea.
To walk this magical route, you’ll just need a Cinque Terre Trekking Card (around €7.50) from the Tourist Information Points in Cinque Terre.
Celebrity Cruises unveils new Caribbean plans
Premium cruise line Celebrity Cruises have shared their new Caribbean programme for the winter ‘24 season.
